Marty studied Physical Therapy at Marquette University and practiced for two years in that field where he enjoyed every moment caring for and healing people physically and emotionally.

Marty began his career with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in April of 2003 as a financial representative and has recently accepted the position of Director of Training and Development with The Carr Group in addition to maintaining his personal production.

Marty had a good start achieving Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards for his first three years and each year having his best year ever. Marty attributes his early success to his desire to help people.

Mary Kay has been associated with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in numerous capacities since 1978.

She joined Scott Carr’s District Network Office in 1988 and is the Operations Manager for The Carr Group.

Mary Kay is married to Hank, and they have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. In her spare time, Mary Kay enjoys any activities that include spending time with family and friends.

Amber Reed is a December 2004 Graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a concentration in marketing & finance.

While attending Eastern, Amber exemplified exceptional leadership in many areas, including Vice President of Alpha Gamma Delta and President of the Panhellenic Council. In addition, she was involved in the cheer team and student associations such as AMA and the Finance Club. This made her an obvious choice for the multi-tasking role of recruiting coordinator and assistant to Scott Carr when she joined our team just over a year ago.

Amber quickly earned the role of Director of Recruitment with The Carr Group, demonstrating the discipline and determination to grow our organization.
